Orchestral Arrangements To Your Requirements

Does your orchestra suffer from no viola, only tenor horns, treble clef reading trombones, no bassoon and too many clarinets? And you're fed-up of continually re-writing stuff? Then this is for you.

In a new venture, particularly (though not exclusively) aimed at School and Youth Orchestras, we are offering the opportunity for bespoke orchestral arrangements for you and your players.

We offer a full orchestral score to your requirements.

All sets will be in pdf format for you to copy within your institution.

At the moment, we can only offer OUT OF COPYRIGHT works, unless you get permission for the work to take place.

Our main arranger will be Barry Russell. Barry recently arranged the following pieces for Holmfirth High School Orchestra and Voices on their successful Salzburg tour:

Mozart's 'A Figaro Fanfare' (Marriage of Figaro Ovt), 'Voi Che Sapete (sop and orch) and 'Rondo alla Turca' (piano and orch), Grieg's 'Morning' and 'In the Hall of the Mountain King', Bach's 'Sheep May Safely Graze' and 'Jesu Bleibet Meine Freude', the folk tune 'Ironbridge Hornpipe', Vivaldi's 'Concerto for 2 Trumpets' and Franck's 'Panis Angelicus' (choir and orch). These are currently available to be rewritten for you!

All pieces were written for the group’s instrumentation (4Fl, 4 Cl, Bn, FHn, THn, 3 Tr, 2 Trb, Many Percussion, Vn1, Vn2, Vcl 2, CB and Guitar) but have now been easily adapted for a local community orchestra.

Barry also writes new compositions for schools - for instance 'Pleiades' - an improvisational piece for orchestra and voices which started out life on a school visit to Paris and ended up in the Schools Prom at the Royal Albert Hall. FlipScore (worth a watch).
